1. Overview

JGQ3 series dual-power automatic transfer switch (ATSE) is an integrated unit combining switching and logic control, without the need for an external controller. It truly realizes the mechanical and electrical integration of an automatic transfer switch. Suitable for AC 50Hz, rated voltage up to 440V, and a rated heating current of 100A, it is ideal for industrial and enterprise power distribution systems.

The switch features voltage detection, frequency detection, communication interface, electrical and mechanical interlock, and can perform fully automatic operation, remote control, forced “0”, and emergency manual operation. It is widely used for automatic switching between main and backup power sources or for the safe isolation and conversion of dual-load systems.

The control circuit board issues logic commands to drive a motor that activates the main switch mechanism, quickly breaking or connecting circuits and ensuring safe isolation with visible status indication.

2. Structural Description

1. Electrical Button: Controls internal power supply for the control circuit. When set to “Auto”, the switch operates fully automatically. When set to “Manual”, the switch can only be manually operated.
2. Operate Handle: Used for manual operation. Must be used when the electrical button is in the “Manual” position.
3. Mechanism Padlock: Used for maintenance. First set the switch to “0” with the handle, then apply the padlock. This cuts off internal control power, disabling both automatic and manual switching.
4. Indicator: Shows the working state of the switch (I, O, II).

4. How to Use

1. Fully Automatic Function: When the main power supply fails, the switch automatically transfers to the standby power supply. When the main power is restored, it automatically switches back.
2. Forced “0” Function: Press the forced “0” button to cut off both power sources.
3. Remote Control Function: Press “I” for the main power, “II” for the standby power, or “0” to cut off both power sources remotely.
4. Function Selection: Select the required function and perform wiring according to the selected feature.
5. Ordering: Specify the switch model, current rating, and required functions when placing an order.
